Canoe, Swim and Eat Icecream again
Eating out is getting too expensive. Need a creative solution... A&W breakfast in the car - one of our favourites. Hello Ewan, The idea for today was conjured a little over a week ago; when I had an urge to canoe - the three of us. It was a summer thought. Blue sky, warm weather, cool water and us three paddling aimlessly and enjoying ourselves. That vision pretty much came true today. I give much credit for my dear wife, who is not crazy about spending all day in the sun and felt a bit unsafe after our last canoeing experience in Alberta. I did a little research and found that Awenda and Emily both are suitable for canoe novices. I picked Emily and turned out to be a good choice. The day was perfect. A quick recap: We took our time to get ready without rushing. Had breakfast in the car. Took the 407 to avoid traffic. Got to Emily around noon and canoed for about an hour.
